Dance Classes
The Dance Place offers variety of classes. Please check the available styles and schedules below.
Wedding Dance
For many people planning a wedding, one of the most important parts is the “First Dance” they will do after the ceremony. If you are a fantastic dancer, this may be no problem at all. Unfortunately, most people are not fantastic dancers. And that’s where The Dance Place plays an important role.
The Dance Place offers choreography and training services for the wedding couple. The instructor can choreograph a routine to your special song, or we can help you pick out music. The instructor will do his or her best to customize the routine to incorporate your personalities, the music, your abilities and any special requests you might have.
Nobody can work miracles. If you wait until the last minute, you will probably have a less than pleasing experience with your First Dance. Be sure and allow plenty of time to learn all the moves. You should get started on the lessons at least 3 months before the wedding to be sure you have sufficient time to learn and execute all the steps correctly and in time to the music. The longer you wait, the more pressure you will be under, and this will take away from the whole experience. Your first dance is something you, your family and your guests will remember for years to come. What you do now will ensure that you all can look back on a wonderful event with the perfect First Dance routine.
The Dance Place can provide just 1 lesson (not recommended) or small packages of 5 or 10 sessions. It is difficult to tell in advance how many sessions you will need as this depends greatly on your ability, retention rate, practice schedule and the regularity with which you take lessons. Most people end up taking between 10 and 20 sessions to get prepared for this important presentation.
