Become a Studio Certified Ballroom Dance Teacher
in just 12 weeks!
During this 12-week course, you will learn the Foundation-level patterns of the
Rumba, Foxtrot, Cha-Cha, Tango, Swing, Waltz and Salsa
The course will be conducted at
THE DANCE PLACE
3300 Chimney Rock Rd, Suite 500, Houston, TX 77056.
All training will be provided by
Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing
Fellow and Examiner

Participants will learn the Male and Female parts of each Foundation-level pattern in each dance covered in the course. The patterns in each of those dances will be put together in a short routine that all participants will learn during the training course.
A Studio Certification "Check Out" will be conducted at the end of the course, and each successful participant will receive a Certificate of Completion stating that he/she is Studio Certified to teach the 7 covered dances at the Foundation level.
Note: More intensive training courses are available for experienced teachers who wish to upgrade their knowledge and/or gain nationally recognized dance teaching degrees.
2009 Course dates are:
May 5, 12, 14*, & 26, June 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30, July 2*, 14 & 21.

Note: Classes meet on Tuesdays from 8-10pm except those marked with the asterisk (*), which are tentatively scheduled to be held on the indicated Thursdays from 8-10pm
