The Dance Season in Houston is about to begin!
Lots of folk are gearing up for Houston's fall dance season by getting a new outfit or two, maybe a new pair of shoes and, most importantly, by taking a few brush up lessons to make sure they will look suave and sophisticated out on the dance floor.
As you might imagine, The Dance Place has all sorts of opportunities for you to hone your dancing skills. Or acquire some if that's what you need. In addition to 1-on-1 (private) lessons, we have Beginner, Pre-Intermediate and Intermediate Ballroom classes available at 9, 8 & 7pm respectively on Monday evenings.
At 7pm on Tuesdays, we have an Intermediate-level class on Ballroom that occasionally adds a novelty dance like Salsa.
There is a Social Dance class at 7pm on Wednesday that will begin a 4-week series on Cha-cha on September 6. The Ballroom Essentials class at 7pm on Fridays will feature a 4-week series on Rumba beginning on September 8.
If you want to learn the International style of dance, join Guennadi's 7pm Standard and 8pm Latin classes on both Wednesdays and Fridays.
To just get the feel of being on the dance floor again, come on in for our Practice Party from 8-10pm every Friday evening.
The Dance Place is easy to find: 3300 Chimney Rock, suite 500, is accessed by turning west on Beverly Hill 1 block south of Richmond Avenue. (West is the ONLY direction you can turn onto Beverly Hill from Chimney Rock) Turn left into the 2nd parking lot on the left (south) side of Beverly Hill and come into the studio for a great dance lesson or evening of dance!
