Texas Challenge Update

In just 11 weeks, the 2008 Texas Challenge DanceSport Competition will take place at the Sheraton North Houston.
This will be during the weekend of March 27 - 30, 2008, and the hotel is on JFK Blvd just about a mile from Houston's Bush Intercontinental Airport.
Quite a few people have already said they would be coming to the event with loads of entries. There have been some strong indications that we will have a stronger collegiate participation this year, and we recently learned that one school is planning to bring quite a few children and youth participants. And, of course, we will have lots of great Pro/Am and Amateur events and some fabulous Professional competitors will be on hand to vie for the prizes and trophies available to them through their superb dancing endeavors.
2008 will see our third Texas Challenge, and as they say the 3rd time is a charm. We've got judges lined up, including Toni Meridith from California, Patrick Johnson from Florida, Pete Taylor and Lori Gay from New Jersey and others from various locations around the country.
Vendors include the oneand only Sam Jones IV who will once again be displaying his unique and fabulous dance artwork. We will also have jewelry and costume vendors on hand, a hair and make-up technician, shoe vendors and more.
